We are all busy, so to make planning a breeze, our school functions are listed below. Signup links to each event will be added as needs are determined. Please plan ahead and consider volunteering at one of our many fun fundraising and community building events.

Pledge Drive!

The start of a new school year means Gravenstein Parent Association has to get to work!  Help us raise money to fund our wonderful Enrichment Programs by participating in our annual back to school Pledge Drive!  Your donations help fund our Enrichment Programs at both Gravenstein and Hillcrest campuses as well as support our teachers through classroom funds and our mini-grant programs.  Get your pledges in by 5/6 to be entered into our drawing!  Thank you for your support!!!

Grade Level Parents hosted Back to School Ice Cream Social

The Gravenstein Grade Level Parents invite you to attend a Back to School Ice Cream Social at Ragle Ranch Park.  Sponsored by Straus Creamery this event offers families an opportunity to connect with their 2024/2025 Grade Level Parents as well as other families and students in our community.  Check the flyer for your grade level time slot!

GLP Socials For GLP’s

These are events for the Grade Level Parents and special guests.  They take place at Hordcore Coffee on Bloomfield from 8:30-9:30am unless otherwise specified. If you would like to become a GLP please click the volunteer link above and specify GLP to volunteer.

 Come show off your skate moves (or lack thereof) and support our children’s enrichment programs! Be sure to check Monday Messages for updates and reminders regarding our skate nights at Cal Skate in Rohnert Park. Cal Skate Fundraising Nights will run throughout the 2024/2025 school year! Starting at 5:30 – 7:30pm. These themed events are truly so much fun!

Come join us every first thursday of the month at The Rewind Arcade! Show off your pinball skills or play those classic arcade games! Every beer purchase contributes 10% to the GPA. For families 5-8pm and for 21+ 8-10pm.

Gravenstein Jog-a-Thon Event!

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year!  The children always have a wonderful time jogging the track with our Grizzly mascot.  Huge smiles all around as every lap tallied supports our Enrichment programs.  A huge THANK YOU to the students, volunteers, business sponsors and supporters who donate to important fundraiser.  We’re looking forward to seeing you all on the track!

Holiday Themed Community Event

The GPA is hosting the Holiday Faire held in Hillcrest Hall on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.-noon. There will be cookies, hot cocoa, Santa, music, craft tables, and more!

We are hoping parents will share a favorite homemade cookie recipe by donating 1 or 2 dozen cookies the day before the event. Store-bought is fine too as we understand the holidays get busy. If you are interested, please fill out this Holiday Faire Cookie Sign-up form.  We will make signage for your cookies and note the ingredients.

We also need helpers! If you are able to work the morning of the event, please find a slot that works for you on this Holiday Faire Donations and Volunteers List.

Finally, we have a limited number of tables for parent and/or student vendors who would like to sell hand-crafted décor, home goods, jewelry, or other products at this event. We can accept vendors on a first come, first serve basis. You keep the proceeds; we will provide the tables. Pancake Breakfast at Hillcrest Middle School

GPA is thrilled to once again bring so many families together in this wonderful community building and fundraising event.  Come have breakfast with your fellow GUSD families and friends at Hillcrest Middle School.

Our Online Auction opens for bidding on February 24th.  This is a great way to support our school’s enrichment programs thanks to the many donations from local businesses, families and community members.  Find the link once it’s live, here:

Book Fair

The Book Fair will be held during Open House events at Gravenstein campus.  Volunteers are encouraged!

Read-a-thon

Put those new book fair purchases to use and participate in the 2024 Read-A-Thon! This annual fundraising event kicks off April 29th and runs through May 10th.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!

GUSD likes to show their appreciation to all of our wonderful teachers and staff throughout the entire month of May! Check back for volunteer and item donation opportunities.

We look forward to continuing to show our appreciation for staff every Friday in May.  Part of your donations support these staff appreciation events. We know many families like to do something personal from their family for the staff that support their child each day, staff love those things too!
