Our Mission:
Our mission is to strengthen and enrich the educational experience of every student in our district through the power of community support. We are committed to raising funds to employ enrichment teachers who inspire learning beyond the classroom, provide grants that empower educators to bring creative ideas to life, and supply teacher accounts that ensure classrooms have the resources they need to thrive. By investing in our teachers and students, we help build a stronger, more vibrant school community for all.

Welcome to Gravenstein Parent Association! We are a volunteer-run non-profit that fundraises the Gravenstein School ENRICH! for All program! We are excited to support our district’s award-winning academics paired with enrichment activities including Art, STEM, Movement, Set Design, Dungeons & Dragons and Gardening to name just a few. GPA works with GUSD to provide the enrichment teachers for Jumpstart as well. We support our district teachers with class accounts and mini grants too!
While our school district and state funding cover the standard curriculum, our commitment to an enrichment program requires additional funding. For each school year, the requested donation is $95/child/month. We rely on the contributions from student families via the Gravenstein Parent Association (GPA).
How Can I Help?
Volunteer
You belong in GPA! We invite you to become an active member of the Gravenstein community and take part in GPA. Gravenstein Parent Association can’t run without amazing board members and volunteers. We are ENTIRELY made up of GUSD parent volunteers who dedicate some of their time every month to help coordinate events, help with technology, balance the budget, socials, respond to emails, take notes, and so much more. Many hands make light work! So, if you have some time and can help with even the smallest of tasks please reach out! Head to our Board Members page to check out open board seats.
Gravenstein Parent Association can’t run without amazing board members and volunteers. Every event we ask for parent volunteers to help in various tasks during the event. Look out for these opportunities in Monday Messages, Parent Square and our Event pages. Just want to reach out and see if there is any need for volunteers, go to our Event Details page and click the ‘Sign Up to Volunteer’ button.
