Join a Subcommittee!
Our non profit thrives on the support and involvement of our families. We encourage all parents to participate in school events, attend meetings, and share ideas. Together, we can foster a vibrant community that enriches the educational experience for every student.
Fundraising Events Subcommittee:
The Fundraising Events committee is responsible for the scheduling, planning and execution of the GPA fundraisers and events. This group meets monthly to work on the details of all the various events happening on both campuses. Reach out to wearegpa@wearegpa.com if you would like to attend these meetings. This year we are starting Planning Commitees for each event to help with the event logistics, planning, and volunteering. So look out for messaging on all platforms to be on an Planning Commitee. Fill out our VOLUNTEER FORM to be updated on upcoming events to help with!
Communications Subcommittee:
The communications committee manages the marketing and messaging for GPA. They maintain this website, create and send out monthly newsletters, manage the facebook and instagram accounts for GPA, as well as craft a portion of the Monday Messages. They also update the bulletin board at school. Please reach out to GPA if you’d like to be a part of our group.
Governance Subcommittee:
The governance subcommittee oversees adherence to bylaws, negotiates annual Memorandum Of Understanding with the District, and all other best practices for the non profit. President and vice president are typically members of this subcommittee.
Finance Subcommittee:
The finance subcommittee prepares the association’s annual budget, proposes monthly pledge amounts and helps setup financial logistics for events. This subcommittee is lead by the Treasurer.
